Access control
NDAS has a unique ID and KEY embedded into its hardware. Wihout the NDAS ID, no one will be able to see or access the NDAS storage even though they are connected to the same network.

ID : controls read access to the NDAS storage
Without the ID, the PC can not access or recognize the existence of the NDAS storage in the network
Key : controls the write access to the NDAS storage
Without the Key, the user can not change, alter, erase, or damage the original data



Write blocking

Some times it is required to open the NDAS storage to other users in the network while securing the raw data in the storage, Just give them the ID for read-only access to the NDAS storage. Give only those you wish to authorize with write accessibility, the Key.



Hacking defense
